Through my internship in Australia, I gained many valuable experiences.
Before joining, I didn’t have high expectations and was somewhat worried about the quality, since I had no clear idea of what an internship in Australia would be like. However, with the dedicated guidance of my mentor, I was able to learn a great deal. I developed essential skills to be ready for the Australian workplace, from soft skills to technical knowledge. More importantly, I was guided to build the right mindset to grow and integrate in the long run.
The only area I found slightly lacking was in-depth, industry-specific knowledge. But considering the 2-month duration and the amount of learning I received, this was just a minor gap that can be improved in the future.
