Are you a recent Accounting graduate with some practical experience under your belt? We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our growing team. Your Role:

As a Graduate Accountant, you’ll contribute to a range of accounting, compliance, and administrative activities, gaining hands-on experience while being mentored by senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare non-complex tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships with minimal supervision

• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)

• Manage ATO correspondence including assessments, instalments, and PAYG variations

• Enter transactions and set up accounts in accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)

• Assist with basic company secretarial work including lodgements, payments, and compliance

• Prepare neat, accurate working papers and professional correspondence

• Support client administration and internal billing processes

• Communicate professionally with clients and team members

• Actively participate in team discussions, accept feedback constructively, and keep supervisors informed

• Build your technical knowledge as you work towards your Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification

What You’ll Bring:

• A completed or near-completed undergraduate degree in Accounting

• Some prior experience (internship or part-time) in public practice or similar setting

• A working knowledge of common business structures (companies, trusts, partnerships)

• Strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy skills, and a proactive approach

• Good time management and task prioritisation skills

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Exposure to Handitax, MYOB, or Xero is an advantage
