Where are they now? — A note from one of our past interns:

“I did my intern year at Capital Chemist Charnwood in 2019 — the best decision I could have made. I learnt from a large, experienced pharmacist team, cared for a diverse community, and gained skills well beyond the dispensary. It was challenging, but the support I received — both professionally and personally — made me the confident pharmacist I am today.”

Big Love – Make every patient feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Live Well – Model healthy, sustainable work habits for yourself and others.

Own It – Take responsibility for your learning and turn feedback into growth.

Think Different – Find creative ways to improve patient care and team efficiency.

From Intern to Lifesaver: how our values change lives:

“A patient newly diagnosed with diabetes came to us feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. We welcomed her with Big Love, setting her up with a glucose meter and a personalised plan from our Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Our intern pharmacist checked in regularly, that’s how we Own It, offering care that went far beyond the counter. Over time, her confidence and health improved, proof of what happens when you Live Well and Think Different about patient care”
