Job Description

SRC Aus provides innovative products and seasoned analysts to solve Australia's toughest Electronic Warfare (EW) challenges – from mission planning support, EW integrated reprogramming, simulation, test and evaluation, and training. 

As an intern at SRC Aus, you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, software developers, hardware experts and intelligence analysts focused on the testing and evaluating of innovative solutions to evolving EW challenges. This role requires investigation and analysis of complex EW problems to support the development of effective technical solutions. 

This role involves investigation, analysing and contributing to a solution for an EW problem.  You will performing multi-source analysis on radar and EW systems and investigating the application of AI/ML techniques in support of EW applications. 

During the internship you will get experience in:

  • Research and analysis across a range of technical data sets 

  • Analysis of Radar and EW systems 

  • Modelling and simulation of analysed systems 

  • Contribution to the development of automated processing algorithms 

To be eligible you will be in your 3rd of 4th year studying a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Physics or similar.

In addition you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and work well in a team

  • Strong written and oral communication skills 

You will be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva and have the ability to access ITAR and Export controlled information.
