Albright Institute of Business and Language is a Registered Training Organization (RTO) in the heart of Melbourne CBD with three more campuses across Australia (Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane), approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic Job Placement Coordinator to join our Melbourne Campus located in Melbourne CBD, reporting to the Director of Academic and Business Development. This is a people-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on building industry partnerships, coaching students, and making a tangible impact on their future career success.

The Role

The Job Placement Coordinator plays a key role in assisting students to secure:

  • Casual and part-time roles in Cookery, Carpentry, and Community Services.

  • Internship placements for students in the Albright Industry Program (AIP), particularly in Civil Construction Design and Information Technology.

You will build strong industry connections, prepare students for the workplace, and ensure high-quality placements that enhance employability outcomes.

Albright Institute would be open to filling role Full-time or Part-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and manage internships and job opportunities across multiple industries.

  • Build and maintain relationships with host companies and industry partners.

  • Coach students on interview skills and Australian workplace culture.

  • Monitor student progress during placements and provide ongoing support.

  • Conduct networking, outreach, and business development activities.

  • Maintain accurate placement records and reporting systems (CRM).

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or business development.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Initiative, energy, and a strong student-centered approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with international students.

  • Knowledge across community services, cookery, carpentry, civil construction, or IT.

  • Understanding of visa regulations, work rights, and HR legislation related to internships.
