The Good Crowd has partnered with a forward-thinking creative and media agency that’s redefining how brands connect with customers — and they’re on the lookout for a curious, detail-driven Junior Data Analyst to join their Sydney team.

This isn’t just a “pull the numbers and hand them over” type of role. You’ll be digging into marketing performance data, uncovering the story behind the stats, and helping connect the dots between creative, media, and customer experience.

What do you need?

  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts)

  • An analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations

  • A foundational understanding of Python for analysis (no need to be an expert)

  • A general grasp of digital marketing metrics like CPA, ROAS, CTR, and CVR

  • Awareness of major advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, DV360, SA360)

  • A high standard for accuracy and attention to detail

Nice to have:

  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Basic SQL knowledge

  • Prior internship or project experience in analytics or digital marketing

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or similar

What will you be doing?

  • Analyse full-funnel marketing performance to spot trends, insights, and growth opportunities

  • Build and automate campaign reports — with commentary and recommendations, not just numbers

  • Assist in maintaining and validating marketing data pipelines for accuracy and reliability

  • Work closely with marketing teams to understand their needs and provide actionable data support

  • Aggregate and unify data from multiple sources into clear, digestible views
