Job DescriptionAn opportunity currently exists for a Media Implementation Assistant to join our Melbourne team in an entry level role to support media trading for some of Australia's most recognised brands.
So what does a Media Implementation Assistant do?
As the Media Implementation Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the team with the day-to-day execution of a complex and innovative media campaign. These encompass media channels like Television, Out of Home, Radio, Online Video, Display, Social and Search advertising.
You will be exposed to cutting edge technology that helps deliver digital content to audiences and learn the complex ecosystem of media technology.
Your day to day will consist of supporting your team while developing your own media trading and implementation skills. Specifically, this will include setting up campaigns, collecting & processing data into value adding reports, and making recommendations based on insights. Your deliverables are always of the highest quality and completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all media goals and strategies are delivered and executed within budget
- Assist Traders/Head of Trading in market research and analysis when required
- Quickly developing a thorough understanding of basic media concepts, terminology, media maths, media trading and execution of key media tools/platforms
- Being accountable for the day to day account management and implementation of campaigns
- Being the support contact for client/media liaison on day to day matters
- Administrative services such as arrangement of meetings, preparation of WIPs, compilation of project reports
- Checking booking confirmations and pre-times, campaign monitoring, post analysis matching and reporting under the guidance of your direct manager
- Media Campaign Delivery tracking (all communication channels)
- Ensure that all campaigns are monitored and managed for each client, resolving issues and negotiation compensation as and when required
- Providing assistance to the team during invoicing and reconciliation, financial administration
- Generate creative ideas within role accountabilities (process improvements etc.) and actively contribute to idea generation and optimisation
Whilst full training for the role will be provided, the successful candidate requires the below skills:
- Completion of a tertiary qualification in Advertising/Business/Commerce/ Communication/ Marketing or similar and a passion for media
- Confident and capable with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail
- Takes initiative and is an enthusiastic learner
- Works effectively as part of a team
- Planning and organisation skills
- Previous Marketing/Media internship(s) experience highly regarded but not essential
