The Centre Pharmacy is seeking expressions of interest for an intern pharmacist.  

The Centre Pharmacy is a locally owned independent group, with 2 locations in North Tamworth and Kootingal. Between these 2 stores, we pride ourselves on delivering the best healthcare advice and customer service to our locals, including servicing a residential aged care facility.

Position:

38 hours per week, shared between our 2 locations (North Tamworth and Kootingal). Whilst working between the two stores you will get to experience various different roles as well as different staffing and pharmacists’ in-charge. This will help provide more knowledge and experience long-term.

Duties:                

·         Learning from and supporting the pharmacist-in-charge

·         Assisting in dispensary workflow

·         Provide excellent customer service

·         Assist with a wide range of services (UTI consultations, vaccinations, community and residential aged care DAA)

Skills and Experience:

·        Completed or in final year of a Bachelor of Pharmacy

·        Current provisional registration as an Intern Pharmacist or Student with AHPRA

·        Available for a minimum of 12 months full-time employment

·        Competent computer skills

·        Excellent communications and people skills

·        Time-management skills are a must

·        Precision and attention to detail in a high-paced environment

·        Community pharmacy experience and/or experience with Z software highly regarded
