About the Role As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work in cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cutting-edge digital products and services. You’ll help automate business processes and investigate emerging technologies such as GenAI, Cloud platforms, and microservice architecture. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to meaningful solutions and gain exposure to SG Fleet’s agile delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain digital products and services
• Automate business processes to improve efficiency and scalability
• Investigate and apply technologies such as GenAI, Cloud, and microservice architecture
• Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team retrospectives
• Work closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful outcomes

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or NZ citizen with full working rights
• Be in your final year of undergraduate study in 2026 or graduated end of 2025
• Be available to work from SG Fleet’s Sydney HQ in Pymble
What’s NextThis internship is open to final-year university students. You’ll be based at SG Fleet’s Head Office in Pymble, Sydney, with easy access via train and our complimentary shuttle.
Recruitment Process & Key Dates

September – Show Us Who You Are Submit a 60-second video about your passion for SG Fleet, your chosen stream, and how you live our values. Then complete online assessments and a 30-minute virtual interview—no suit required!
October – Let’s Meet You Join our Assessment Centre (week commencing 20 October 2025). Participate in a panel interview, written task, and group activity. It’s your chance to shine!
Welcome to SG Fleet! Offers roll out by end of October. You’ll connect with fellow interns and the SG Fleet team before the program begins.
Program Starts: Monday 9 February 2026
Location: SG Fleet Head Office, Pymble, NSW – with a free shuttle from the station!
