Let's talk about the role

As a Student Product Design Engineer, you will aid the design and development of innovative hardware products from concept to production. Experience collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience.

As a Student Product Design Engineer, you will learn and utilise your design/engineering skills to bring ideas to reality. This includes the following: Negotiating and collaborating cross functionally with various departments, such as Customer Experience, Product Management, Manufacturing, Material Engineering, and technology groups to refine and execute the vision for the product.

What You'll Do

• Utilise Design Thinking to navigate the discovery and delivery process.

• Explore current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

• Conceptualise ideas through multiple mediums (sketches, low fidelity prototypes, rapid prototyping etc.

• Utilise 3D CAD to communicate detailed designs ensuring fit, form, and function.

• Assist in Conduct feasibility studies, creating prototypes, and perform testing to validate design concepts.

What You Bring

• Currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
